ProjectME19 – The Start

PROJECT ME 2019

Welcome, so nice to see you are joining us!

Let’s start with the ‘What is it’?

What is it?

A year long of creative activity using analog materials in a planner, notebook or journal.

We will be journaling following 12 MONTHLY ‘prompts’.  Prompts can be inspirations, quotes, hints, challenges, or themes we will provide in the last week before the new month. You can journal about that prompt as much as you want. Once, a week long or the whole month it is totally up to you! It counts for the whole project, and everything is possible, there are no right or wrongs!

Then there also will be  4 SEASONAL challenges , you can spread them out over a couple of months .

It is a groupactivity for people who like to share – feel free to join ! But it is also possible to just follow through Instagram, without really  participating in the groupprocess. Skipping a month or a prompt is not a problem at all, we just want you to be happy with what you do!

You can inspire and follow other participants through FACEBOOK en INSTAGRAM met de tag #projectme19

What do you need?

A Journal or Notebook in your preferred size and the stationery and materials you love to work with. Washitape, stamps, paint, glue, scissors (fountain-) pens, magazines (clippings) , stickers etc. etc.

START NOW!
You can START NOW by doing a good Clean-out, away with the Christmas deco 😉 ! Get everything with the theme WINTER out (or whatever season you are now in). Create a happy place workspot, make it nice and cozy with rubberstamps, stickers and papers in boxes. It works always best when you SEE what you have in that certain theme, and we guarantee you, this way you will use everything you own this year!

Add a seasonal plant, a little vase for what grows outside now, a candle , pretty stones or minerals, a picture , something that makes you happy now. Ready with creating that happy desk? Then let’s start!

A little corner of my workspace which is actually the dinnertable, but one day I will have a beautiful Atelier! 😉

Will you join too? We hope you are!

Ready for 2019! My word for 2019 is Alinea. It means ‘A new line of thought’. For me this means creating my own work. I have gotten into the habit of trying to duplicate others. I love seeing all the beauty and even taking courses. But I am new to stepping into this world and want to see what my own path is. I’m excited to find my own line of thought.

This year my word is ‘live’.

I plan on living my life rather than just surviving. For the past couple of years I have been working and saving to have a big adventure and in 1 week, I will be spending 2 months backpacking around Europe!

My spreads may have to wait till I’m back but excited to catch up and see how everyone is doing on instagram!

I’m going to join! Not sure what my word for 2019 is. I feel like I totally failed on what I felt the word for 2018 was – Thrive. I felt like I was stagnant and fearful. Not places I want to be.
