Well, of course, it’s not like a specific ‘journaling’ bag—it’s a cotton utility bag, to be exact, but it’s perfect for all our journals, so let’s call it our journaling bag, shall we? 😀
I think it’s an ideal bag to journal outside in a cafe because it’s small enough, so you can toss it into your bigger bag after curating what you’ll bring—but also big enough to fit all of your journals, maybe even 10 of them! Plus it has 6 extra pockets on the outside so you can use one pocket for your stamping ink, one for your washi tape strips, one for your paper bits and pieces, one for all your fountain pens, one for your wooden stamps, and one for your glue, scissors, and paper clips!
The cotton fabric also makes it pleasant to pin up or patch up with your favorite pins and patches. Don’t feel like journaling outside anytime soon? I used it actually to store all my TN journals on my desk—with some stamps, stickers, pens, and inks. So if I want to journal downstairs at the kitchen table or in the living room, I can easily carry the whole bag with me 😀
CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS (written on the label in Japanese, but I will summarize here):
The bag is made of Indian cotton. After dyeing, individual differences in color shade and texture can vary depending on the drying environment. Please understand it as a characteristic of the product. Color-fading may occur when washed. Be sure to wash separately from other items. Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach. Do not leave or use it while it’s wet. Its color may transfer to other objects due to wetness, sweat, or friction. Please be careful when using it in rainy weather, and color transfer to light-colored sofas, bed sheets, clothes, bags, etc. If you are concerned about the peculiar smell of Indian cotton at purchase, please dry it in the shade in a well-ventilated place before use.
