What is a Stationery Cafe?

A Stationery Cafe is a regular offline meet-up organized by Cafe Analog. We will book a venue where you can all sit around and journal together, having lovely conversations with people who share the same love for paper, stationery supplies, and creativity—as well as shopping for Cafe Analog products offline (yes, there is a pop-up shop at Stationery Cafe!). There’s no specific agenda or hour-by-hour program; think about it like a free-flowing event where you can socialize, browse/look around, or work on your journal—whatever you feel like. We like to think of our Stationery Cafe as a safe and supportive space for everyone who loves journaling and stationery.

What to expect:

  • A relaxing day of journaling, stamping, collaging, snuggling indoors, and geeking over stationery items while chatting about our 2024 journal line-up with fellow analog lovers.
  • Meeting new and old friends, peeking into their journals, and exchanging or trying out their stationery items (with consent, of course!).
  • Taking pictures of us and our journals—for our journals 😀 And doing the iconic Plannerstack, of course! (where all attendees stack their planners and journals together!)
  • Grab some Cafe Analog’s selected stationery items we’ll bring to the pop-up shop during the event (you can pay with cash, Tikkie, or bank transfer).
  • Light breakfast and lunch, coffee, tea, water, and some snacks inside the room, provided by us 🙂 (You can also head out to the LAB111 restaurant whenever you wish if you want to order something more with your new and old journaling best friends—and pay directly at their cashier).
  • A cozy day surrounded by people who share the love of analog as much as you do!

About the location:

De Kapel at Lab111
Arie Biemondstraat 111
1054 PD Amsterdam

De Kapel is located inside Lab111, a quirky cinema situated in Amsterdam’s monumental old pathological anatomical laboratory (talking about a vintage vibe for our journaling session!). We will have our own private space, surrounded by coziness and stationery items! They also have a vintage photobooth—so you can go there with your journaling friends and share a printed photo to remember this day! 😀

Note: Due to the many stairs in the monumental building, LAB111 is unfortunately difficult to access for wheelchair users. There is no elevator in the building.
