The bag is made of Himeji leather from Hyogo Prefecture and the well-known Kurashiki canvas from Okayama. Your journals and fountain pen carriers can fit snuggly inside this small but spacious bag—making it perfect to carry around during your solo journaling date in a nearby cafe.

Himeji Leather is produced through a traditional production method called “Hon-Nameshi”—that originated back from thousand years ago. In this traditional method, craftsmen work on the leather with bare hands and feet, tending it with salt, rapeseed oil, and water from the local river in Himeji. Since 1888, Kurashiki Canvas has been well-known for its innovative yarn-twisting technology. For over 130 years, they have played an important role as the manufacturer of premium cotton canvas. Fabric from KURASHIKI CANVAS mill adheres to the highest quality weaving standards following the strict Japanese international textile standards, resulting in this first-class canvas nurtured by the bounty of nature and the care of people.
