Shachihata – Make Your Own Color Pad – Spring Days Starter Kit

For the springtime, we want to introduce you to this fun project: making your own stamp pad for a unique print and pattern! We include in this starter kit the Shachihata blank stamp pad and 3 Shachihata refill inks with beautiful color palette that will go well together:

• 8ml ink Kobai Iro – Plum Pink
• 8ml ink Tokusa Iro – Horsetail Green
• 8ml ink Konjo Iro – Dark Navy Blue

Drop the ink colors one by one on the pad in your desired design or gradient (imagine making random circles, wavy lines, or clean columns… the possibility is endless!). Don’t forget to use the spatula included with the ink refill to press the color into the stamp pad. Pressing the ink will help the color to stay in its proper place and the ink will be able to penetrate beyond the surface.
