AWAGAMI – Handmade Thick Postcards with Coffee
They might be too thick for layering in your journal pages, but I love using them to decorate the cover of my journals (they really give them such a special, exclusive look!). I also love using them as postcards inside a happy mail bundle (I write my messages on one side and collage/paste Polaroid pictures on the other side). Sometimes, I also cut them into smaller sizes and spray my favorite perfume on them—then share the fragrance inside the happy mail envelope!

Made in the “Tamezuki” method, an East-meets-West style of papermaking that allows for thicker sheets to be made. These cards have little bits of coffee mixed in with the pulp yielding a lovely decorative paper.”
