“The Lotus Atelier” is a 100+-year-old family-run stamp shop, established in 1910 in Fukuoka, Japan, now on the third generation of the family. Since 2018 Akino-san has been working alone on these stamps, and she continued her shop as ‘Kobo Ren’. Nichinichi Kore Kōnichi (日日是好日) means “Every day is a good day,” a Zen expression about accepting and appreciating each day as it comes, whatever it brings; 丸枠 (maruwaku) means “round frame.” This year-round sentiment, perfect for daily journaling and appreciating ordinary moments.
