Since 2018 Akino-san has been working alone on these stamps, and she continued her shop as ‘Kobo Ren’. Kikkō Karahana (亀甲唐花) is a traditional Japanese pattern combining a tortoiseshell hexagon with a stylized floral motif, symbolizing longevity, good fortune, prosperity, and enduring beauty. It’s a classic auspicious motif suitable year-round, especially for celebrations, gifts, and traditional Japanese-themed pages.
